Brushing

Brushing is a finishing process used to raise the surface fibres of a fabric. During this process the fabric undergoes a mechanical brushing where fine, metal brushes carefully rub on the fabric to produce fine fibres from the woven yarns. This technique is often used on the inside of hoodies to create extra softness on the inside of the fabric.
